大连港引航站累计引航船舶超过56万艘次
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Dalian Port Pilot Station. Recently, reporters learned from the Dalian Port Pilot Station that since its establishment, the station has piloted over 560,000 ships, achieved multiple breakthroughs, including piloting the first domestic ultra-large heavy oil tanker to dock at the 300,000-ton crude oil terminal and the first 400,000-ton ship. Its comprehensive strength firmly ranks among the top tier of domestic pilot stations.
In 1951, the first generation of Dalian Port pilots started from scratch, putting an end to the history of foreign personnel monopolizing piloting. Over the past 75 years, the Dalian Port Pilot Station was the first to overcome the technology required for docking and undocking large bulk carriers, large oil tankers, and ocean-going container ships under complex conditions. Since 1990, they have realized the normalization of night-time piloting for most ships and have successively completed refined piloting operations under heavy fog and severe sea conditions. The station has ensured over 100 port entries and exits for China's two aircraft carriers, Liaoning and Shandong, efficiently accomplishing significant national strategic tasks. It also successfully piloted the floating transportation of 18 giant immersed tubes for the Dalian Bay undersea tunnel, filling a gap in the domestic piloting system for large-scale underwater engineering transportation support.
Currently, the Dalian Port Pilot Station possesses world-class piloting capabilities for full ship types, including 450,000-ton oil tankers, 400,000-ton ore carriers, 24,000 TEU container ships, and 260,000-cubic-meter liquefied natural gas carriers. It has achieved the goal of "full ship-type piloting skills and all-weather piloting environments." The station has twice been awarded the title of "Top Ten Piloting Institutions in the Nation." The station's head stated that they would continue to uphold their mission of ensuring smooth operations and safety, contributing to accelerating the construction of a strong transportation and maritime nation.
