The Yangtze River Nanjing Waterway Bureau's jurisdiction over the Baota Waterway gathers key backbone enterprises such as Yangzi Petrochemical, Yangzi BASF, Nanjing Iron and Steel, Nanjing Thermal Power, and Nanjing Chemical along its route. The team comprehensively sorted out enterprise needs, promptly responded to their demands for improving navigation capacity, and addressed key concerns such as upgrading waterways, enhancing navigation aids, and applying smart waterway scenarios. They conducted thorough investigations and established a comprehensive list of enterprise needs. Relying on the precise data collected during the research, they provided strong support for the feasibility study of upgrading Baota Waterway, effectively transforming urgent enterprise concerns into practical service measures and converting precise research results into tangible outcomes that support high-quality enterprise development.

In recent years, the Yangtze River Nanjing Waterway Bureau has consistently focused on the main line of serving local economic high-quality development, adhering to proactive engagement and precise empowerment. It has continuously optimized the service system, strengthened waterway support capabilities, focused on the demands of port and shipping enterprises for quality improvement and transformation, promoted iterative upgrades in smart waterway construction, and continuously enhanced the refined and intelligent management and maintenance of waterways.
